The photoseries ‘M.’ tells us the story of a 9 year old girl in her daily life.‘M.’ is born blind and also found highly intelligent. This blindness and wisdom are her reality. For the photographer it became a challenge to, so to speak, to visualise this reality through ‘M’s’ touch. The intimacy shown in these series reflect the compassion and connectedness between the photographer and the person portrayed. The photos show that ‘being normal’ is subjective.
